My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐱🐱 **Tostada & Verde: Double the Spice, Double the Nice!**

These delightful sisters have spent nearly half their lives waiting for a forever home! At 5 months old, they're at the perfect age to bring energy, fun, and love to your family.

**About Our Dynamic Duo:**
- Playful partners in crime at the perfect kitten age
- Best friends who make each other braver
- Social sweethearts who love other cats
- Potential dog buddies (with proper introductions)

While these precious girls would love to continue their adventures together, they're resilient enough to find happiness in separate homes too. Either way, they're ready to trade shelter life for comfy couches and warm laps!

**What They Offer:**
- Non-stop entertainment
- Double the purrs
- Endless cuddle options
- Twice the love

🏠 Ready to add some flavor to your life? Come meet Tostada and Verde - together or separately, they're sure to spice up your world!

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Always best to first visit the Shelter without your pet. This will allow you to see if the dog or cat is what you appreciate in a pet.

2.

Meet the Pet

Take the dog for a walk or visit the cat area and play with the cat / kitten.

3.

Sign Adoption Contract

A meet and greet is required if you own another dog at home. This provides a safe environment for all concerned. No cat meet & greets.

Additional adoption info

A $100 fee is required if the dog or cat has not been spayed or neutered at the time of adoption. This fee is refundable once the animal has surgery, and proof is submitted of the spay / neuter. The adoption fee will provide the required veterinarian services.

Go meet their pets

Brownstown Animal Shelter is located at 23700 Lillian Dr. in Brownstown Township. 734-675-4008
We have a Shot Clinic on the last Saturday in April every year, that allows the public to get their animals vaccines at a reasonable price without paying an office visit.

More about this shelter

Brownstown is an Animal Shelter based in Brownstown Township. We spay and neuter every pet, and provide more than the required shots via Southgate Animal Hospital. We want a good fit for the Adopter and the animal, so we ask questions regarding your current situation of pets and family. We conduct meet and greets to make sure the dogs live peacefully together. Information is key to a good adoption, and we try to provide everything you'll need to be a successful pet owner!
