Gingerbread is a beautiful, female orange and white tabby kitten. Because only 25% of orange tabbies are female, Gingerbread is very special! She and her mom and siblings were abandoned at a local Starbucks before Christmas but are now enjoying the perks of being indoor cats. After her very scary start to life, Gingerbread can understandably be shy at first, but with gentle persuasion, a fist full of her favorite crunchy treats or a Churu meat tube and an enticing toy, she quickly forgets her fears and jumps into action showing you the playful and loving kitten she truly is. Gingerbread’s favorite places to nap are the window perch and the cat tower, but the way to Gingerbread’s heart is definitely through play! As soon as she even hears the bell on the wand toy she will appear and will join right in with the older resident cats in play, but she has healthy boundaries and will let them know when enough is enough!
Because Gingerbread is young and is still gaining confidence, she would do well in a quiet household with consistent routines and children of any age who respect her boundaries. Her ideal adopter would be someone who can initially provide a small room as a base camp and patiently devote time to playing with her regularly and gaining her trust so she can blossom into the amazing, sweet kitty she is destined to be! She would love to be adopted with her brother Chestnut. If not adopted with one of her siblings, Gingerbread would do well with another kitten or a playful, resident cat. Dogs are untested. Estimated birth date is late August 2024. Kitty Bio #980EP-Gi
