Zookie and Sunny Winter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WmlMtm5w8aU
Behavioral:
Per volunteer 12/30: Sunny Winter was easy to leash. She moves slow and seems to be low energy right now although her low weight and long nails could be a factor. She walks really well on leash. Takes treats gently and stays by your side. Met a female dog and didn’t care/ was neutral unphased but no signs of reactivity. She mostly looked towards me but did not run away either.
Per volunteer 12/30: Sunny Winter met Zookie through the fence, then on leash. In both greetings her tail was down, ears back, with soft eyes. She was interested in sniffing initially and then was more interested in her handler and did not engage with Zookie further.
12/29 her finders described her as "Friendly, shy, scared, quiet Very sweet + very alert but listens, can be trusting". They did note she growled at their cat. They were able to lure her into their car with peanut butter. Also noted "has skin issues on the ear, just very dirty and skinny".
Medical:
Per staff 12/29:
Eyes - Clear
Ears - A little dirty
Nose - Clear
Mouth/Teeth/Gums - Moderate staining, gums pink and moist
Urogenital - Altered female, found spay tattoo
Coat & Skin - Live fleas found, hair thinning on back, hair loss on hind legs
Attitude - BAR
