My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Junebug!

Junebug is a sweet and unique girl who’s ready to find her forever family. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and sleeps peacefully on her dog bed at night. During the day, she’s happy to relax upstairs while her foster family works downstairs—she’s an independent little lady when needed!

Junebug is great with kids (her foster family has children ages 9 and 13) and gets along with other dogs. She’s shy and timid at first, but once she warms up, her loving, cuddly, and playful personality shines through.

When comfortable, Junebug delights her people with:
- Adorable zoomies that bring endless smiles.
- Long walks—she’s still perfecting her leash skills but loves the adventure.
- Chewing on her favorite toys and bones.
- Sweet snuggles and the cutest little grunts when she’s cozy.

She’s learning to enjoy the comforts of home life, including her cozy couch bed, and finds joy in every bit of love and attention she gets. Junebug strikes a perfect balance between being energetic and mellow, making her a great companion for both active outings and quiet evenings.

Her ideal home will be patient and understanding, giving her time to build trust and confidence. Older, gentle kids and possibly another friendly dog to help her come out of her shell would make Junebug feel right at home.

If you’re looking for a cuddly, playful, and oh-so-sweet addition to your family, Junebug just might be your perfect match! 💕

Adopting from HEA

FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS:
Adoption is a huge deal to us. We make a lifetime guarantee to our companions. In return, we’re asking you to provide a lifetime commitment once you’ve invited a pet to join your family. We’re excited that you're considering adoption. We look forward to working with you to find the right match!

TIMELINE:
Our primary objective is to assure the correct match for the people and the pets that we’re sending to their forever homes. Our goal is to send dogs and cats home as quickly as we can, while still being thorough. Processing times will vary and are largely dependent on our ability to connect with your references, landlord, and veterinarian. To keep the process moving along, please make sure you’ve done your part:
1) Fill out your application completely - missing information slows down the process.
2) Let your references know to expect our call.
3) If you rent, let your landlord know to expect our call.
4) If you currently have pets, ask your veterinarian to be prepared to release your records.

LIFETIME GUARANTEE:
We make a pact with every animal that enters our care: They’re promised a loving home for the rest of their life. In turn, when you make the commitment to adopt, we ask you to make a lifetime commitment. We believe family is forever.
