Meet Brenda, our bashful, ten month old Shepherd that is looking for a special home to call her own. Brenda came to us as a stray and was scared of her new surroundings. She would melt to the floor and cling to anything she could when on her walks. We`ve been working on her confidence and bravery and she has made big strides. She is very sweet and affectionate but you can tell she wasn`t treated the best in the past. She drops to the floor with loud noises and will scurry away. She isn`t timid to the point where she lashes out of fear but she is very submissive. She does well with other dogs but we are looking for a home with no cats or young children (10+). Treats are the key to helping her on her journey of coming out of her shell and she loves them! Brenda is going to be a project and will take some work but she is doing great and has made so many strides. She`s a friendly girl that just needs some leadership and reassurance. Her adoption fee is $235, which includes her vaccines, fecal exam, deworming, heartworm test, current flea/heartworm prevention, registered microchip, and spay.
