My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tasia! Tasia is a mix of Border Collie and Australian Kelpie AKA Border Kelpie. She was born February 19th, 2023, and currently weighs 31.6 Lbs. (Not too big and not too small) Tasia is crate trained, knows sit, lay down and stay. She is intelligent and eager to learn and please. Tasia enjoys riding in cars and makes a great shot gun rider! She loves her toys, especially her squeaky ones! Tasia will keep herself occupied for hours with her toys, but She would probably do better with another dog in the home, as she loves playing and is good with dogs of all sizes. She is looking for an active family or person. Could her home be yours?
A LITTLE ABOUT HER BREED:
The Border Kelpie Mix has a mild temperament and gentle nature, which makes them perfect companions for people of all ages. Their intelligence makes them easy to train, making them ideal for agility training, herding, and obedience.
These dogs are generally very energetic and love to be around people. The Border Kelpie Mix is intensely loyal to its family – it loves spending time with its owners, getting involved in playtime activities, or simply snuggling up on the couch for some cuddle time.
Tasia is spayed, fully vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm negative, flea and tick treated and micro-chipped. $95 rescue adoption fee applies. Additional adoption info

After the application approval, we set up a meet and greet with you, the animal you are wanting to adopt and any pet's you may have in order to see how everyone gets along. If all goes well we finalize the adoption. Our adoption fees vary from animal to animal.
What the adoption fee covers:
* All medical -up to date on vaccinations including Rabies, flea and tick treated, started on heartworm prevention (for dogs and pups over 6 months), spayed or neutered, (for dogs and pups over 6 months) and micro-chipped. In certain cases, some of our rescues require an extensive amount of medical treatment to get them healthy. We will spare no expense when it comes to the health and wellbeing of our animals. Extensive medical costs will never be passed on to the adopting family; but your adoption fee does help us recover some of the costs.
*Supplies you will receive with adoption – leash and collar.

More about this rescue

MISSION STATEMENT: 4 The Love of Rescue is an all-volunteer non-profit, 501(c)(3) animal rescue group. Our mission is to rescue strays, owner surrenders and dogs out of kill shelters and to spay and neuter as many dogs as possible. The rescue is run by caring volunteers who generously give their devotion, time, homes and hearts to save lives.
Through our Foster Care program, dogs have a comfortable, safe place to be until loving homes can be found for them. ...
We value the bond between humans and dogs and appreciate the important role that pets play in our everyday lives.
Our goal is not only to help animals, but to help people whose lives are greatly ... greatly enriched by adopting animals in need.
