Here's what the humans have to say about me:
A24405 Charm is a tan and white colored, approximately 1-year-old, 46-pound, spayed female, Lab / Pitbull mix.
She entered the shelter an owner surrender on 12-27-2024 due to the fact she was fighting with the other dog in the home.
Charm is a friendly, timid and shy girl here in the shelter. Our staff describes her as super sweet and loving. She is just really scared right now and trying to figure out this loud shelter environment. She will need a patient owner to give her time to get comfortable. It took our staff about 15 minutes to get her comfortable with them and then she would run right up and lay in their lap for love and affection. First approach in her kennel she froze in fear and barely wanted to move walking by all the barking dog kennels. Outside in the play yard she loved exploring and smelling everything. She even played with the dog in the next yard through the fence. She was easy to leash but all the noise scared her, and she froze numerous times. She does not appear to be leash trained. She will need some training, but we did get her to “sit” with a little push down on her rear end after the command. The previous owner says she is not housebroken yet, has used a doggy door and has lived with dogs, and children, but not cats. Charm will be a fun-loving, loyal family member in her new forever home.
