Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
A20812 Lucky is a tan and black colored, approximately 1-year-old, 80-pound, neutered male, German Shepherd.
He entered the shelter as an owner surrender on 01-01-2025 due to the fact the owner had medical issues making it impossible for her to care for her dogs.
Lucky is a friendly, eager and excited boy here at the shelter. Our staff says he is a friendly, high-energy boy. He loves people but has a habit of jumping up on everyone for love and attention. He was a little difficult to leash, because he was excited to go for a walk. He pulled a little in excitement and does not seem to be leashed trained. He will need some training as he doesn’t respond to any commands. He would be best with an experienced owner who would take the time to train him. He is reactive to other dogs going by his kennel and starts barking at them. However, he is housed with his sister, and they get along fine. Lucky will be a fun-loving family member in his new forever home.
