Bruno, once nicknamed Spring Hill by his temporary rescuers, is a charming mystery wrapped in fur. Found wandering the streets of Baltimore, this strong and fun-loving boy has proven to be an adventurer at heart, ready to explore the world by your side. Bruno is already a pro at the "sit" command and radiates vibrant energy, making him the perfect companion for active families. While he shows positive social interest in calm, neutral dogs, Bruno appreciates slow introductions and space when meeting new canine friends. At the end of a lively day, Bruno effortlessly shifts gears, becoming a gentle, calming presence who loves quiet moments of connection. Now at MDSPCA, Bruno is seeking his forever home, one that matches his zest for life and offers the love and companionship he so deserves. If you’re ready for a loyal friend who brings joy to every moment, Bruno might just be the happy ending you’re looking for.

More about this shelter
The Maryland SPCA connects wonderful pets to loving owners. We are not affiliated with any national animal organization, and we do not receive any government or United Way funding. Our mission is to prevent cruelty and neglect of animals through fostering the humane relationship between animals and people. We operate primarily in the Greater Baltimore Metropolitan area.
To make sure that our dogs and cats do not contribute to the pet overpopulation problem, every one is spayed or neutered before going into a new home. The cost is included in the adoption fee, as are the costs of shots and other necessary care. In addition, a free Positive Pooch class is available to our dog adopters.
There is no set time limit for how long an animal can remain in our adoption program. As long as an animal maintains general good health and a sound temperament, we keep him or her until adopted. We pride ourselves on providing premium care to the animals in a clean, pleasant environment. Our adoption staff works diligently to pair up adopters with the best animal match for their homes and lifestyles.
We transport animals from other shelters to our adoption center to help more animals get adopted. We also help pet owners find new homes for their pets so their animals don’t need to enter shelter care.
