My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to ten year old Coco, a silly and adventurous creamsicle-coloured kitty who is ready to boogie his way into your heart!

Outgoing and confident, Coco has no problem putting himself right in the middle of whatever action is going on. His signature 'Flip over right in front of your feet so that you have no choice but to pet him' routine is often accompanied by an adorable series of meows, squeaks, and purrs to make sure that he has your undivided attention!

Pet his head, brush his back, and perhaps even get a special tickle of his ultra soft tummy, Coco is quite content for pretty much any attention he can get. Coco is also a very hard worker who loves to lay on your desk while you type at the computer, and he is also great at checking out shelves and counters to make sure that you have everything you need to complete whatever task you're focused on.

Coco has learned a lot during his time as one of our kitty office managers - If you read his resume, there is a section that outlines his love of plastic bags, batting pens and paper around, and especially using his paws to whap at anything you drop on the floor!

There's nothing that Coco loves more than to lay close by your side and enjoy your company as you stroke his lovely fur. He's also quite the playful kitty when the mood strikes, and he would never say no to a wiggly wand or laser pointer toy! If you're making a Christmas list, Coco also loves water fountains.

Coco gets along great with kids, and has spent lots of time with the other kitties in our care.

Something to know about Coco is that he is a diabetic kitty - Don't worry though, he's super easy to take care of! Coco is in diabetic remission, which means that his blood sugar is stable and he does not require insulin. All that Coco needs to thrive is his diabetic-friendly diet, and he's good as gold!

More about this shelter

We are a team of cat lovers at heart, and our mission is to provide a loving home for all of the kitties who come through our door. We do this by helping adoption-ready cats find their forever homes, and by providing a safe place for the kitties who aren't quite ready to be adopted just yet.
