Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Introducing his Majesty, Slayer of Carrots, Ruler of the Hay Pile, First Amongst Cavy's, Master of Wheeking, King Bob the first.
This young guinea pig is still a baby at five months old and like most baby guinea pigs he exudes pure joy. He will run around his enclosure happily wheeking and greeting his neighbors, or wheek just because he's excited about something; he is just one happy piggie. As a younger guinea pig, he will need a lot of practice being socialized, as he is still young and still quite nervous. We are currently teaching him that it is safe to be picked up.
King Bob will require a home savvy in guinea pig care, and as such would do better with older children (10+).
With questions about King Bob, or any of our other small animals available for adoption, e-mail Olivia at olivia.warburton@rispca.org.

Matchmaking is what we love to do. We do our very best to find the best fit for the pets awaiting adoption at the Rhode Island SPCA. The first step to adopting a dog from the Rhode Island SPCA is filling out an adoption application. If your application is selected, you will be contacted and asked if you would like to schedule a meet & greet. Because of the volume of applications we receive, sometimes we can only respond to the selected applicant. You are always welcome to contact us anytime about the status of your application at adoption@rispca.com.
