Tater Tot is a sweet and gentle soul who, at almost 14 years old, has already endured more than any pet should. She was found abandoned in a carrier in a parking lot, left all alone and scared. Despite everything she's been through, Tater Tot is incredibly loving and affectionate. She's a quiet, calm companion who craves comfort and security, and she deserves so much more than the life she was given.
This precious girl has so much love to give. She's looking for a peaceful, loving home where she can spend her golden years surrounded by warmth and care. Tater Tot may be a bit older, but her heart is full of kindness, and all she wants is a safe space to call her own.
If you have room in your heart and home for a sweet senior girl like Tater Tot, please consider giving her the love she so deeply deserves. Let's give her the happy ending she's been waiting for. ❤️ Apply online at ahscares.org/adopt ID#76707 Primary Color: Brown Tabby Weight: 17.3 Age: 13yrs 9mths 2wks

More about this shelter
The Associated Humane Societies rescues stray and homeless animals, both domestic and wildlife, providing quality care and sanctuary until loving homes can be found. As a community-based organization, we provide low-cost veterinary care and humane education to promote responsible pet guardianship throughout New Jersey.
For over a century we have offered a haven to abused and neglected animals. Founded in 1906, AHS is the largest animal sheltering system in New Jersey, operating three shelters located in Newark, Forked River, and Tinton Falls. Our Forked River facility also includes Popcorn Park. Established in 1977, Popcorn Park is a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused or elderly wildlife, exotic and farm animals, and birds.
The Society is a not for profit, 501(c)3 organization and we take pride in our devotion to the thousands of animals that come through our doors looking for a better life.
