Hi there, my name is Toast and I am a cute little Chihuahua mix about 2 years old, 10.5 lbs and I was found in San Antonio Texas. Yep, I was another dumped dog for no good reason. Thankfully I was not emotionally scarred by this, and was super happy to be picked up off the street and placed in a foster home. I am a happy friendly little guy, always happy, always wagging, sweet, and playful with all humans and other dogs. I love doggy toys and treats, snuggling and kisses, and I enjoy sleeping under the blanket in bed with my people. I’m well-behaved, no chewing or digging, and I’m housebroken. I do okay in a crate with a couple of blankets I can burrow in for sleeping or napping, occasionally peeking out to see what’s going on. I love walks and car rides, playtime, and attention. I hear the Eastern Seaboard is the place to be, so inquire about me today and bring me home!

Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
