This little girl is Polly. She is a little nervous here which is understandable. She is very sweet and loyal. If you've got a comfy warm bed and a loving home, then Polly is ready to become your new companion. She is good on a leash and is vaccinated. She greets people with a wagged tail and little kisses. Come in today and meet her and possibly her friend as well!

The Shelby County Animal Shelter is a County office designed to serve the residents of Shelby County. They answer calls for stray dogs, complaints of dogs running at large, animal kills by dogs and coyotes, pick up stray dogs, answer humane complaints and reports of loose dogs.

The SCAS is open to people looking for a pet, looking for a missing pet, and those who just want to look at the animals. They accept dogs and cats from owners as well as strays, however a fee may be involved. They offer dogs, puppies, cats and kittens for adoption.
