Zyra is a remarkable young cat who has been through so much yet remains as sweet as can be. Rescued from a stray colony, her feeder noticed that one of her eyes was shut with discharge and suspected she needed urgent help. Unfortunately, no rescue was available to take her in at the time, so she had nowhere to go. But when she returned a week later, the feeder caught her easily—Zyra seemed to know she needed help.
When we took Zyra in, her left eye was in terrible condition, with green discharge and a foul smell. A vet visit confirmed that her left eye had ruptured and the globe was no longer present. Despite this, her right eye was inflamed but could be saved. After treating her infection, Zyra underwent surgery to clean and close the left eye socket and was also spayed.
Now fully recovered, Zyra is a playful and loving companion. She adores spending time with her human, enjoys playing, and has a calm, affectionate nature. She has a particular taste for Friskies pate and dry food—she’s not a fan of anything else!

We do not have a storefront nor an open to public location. However, we do have a place where the Meet & Greet can take place in which only go by appointments. Therefore, please contact us to arrange a day and time for a Meet & Greet with the cat/kitten after your application is approved.

QTee Rescue is a small private home-based rescue. We have been rescuing for the past 2-3 years as independent rescuers, and obtained our 501(c)3 in April,2023. We are very experienced in bottle feeding new-born kittens, which provides us the ability to rescue and nurture vulnerable ones. Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for stray kittens, to promote their health and wellbeing, and to find loving forever homes for them. We believe that every kitten deserves a chance to have a happy and healthy life.
