Davenport, who we call Avvy, is a sweet little 2-3 yr old. She is all about being with her person! She will snuggle on the couch and under the covers on the bed! She also has lots of energy and loves to run in the yard and play with toys and with other dogs. She would do great in a home interested in training in sport or obedience!

Avvy came from a neglectful situation; she was greasy, covered in flakey skin, and had a horrible smell, hair loss, and swelling. We were told she had been kicked and was very timid, but we have only seen a loving and trusting little girl as long as you begin gently and slowly.  She would do best in a home without small children, and with someone who has experience with small dogs. We'd love to find Avvy an active home or one with a playmate for her.  She will require a securely fenced. Avvy does seems to do well with cats, but might try to play with them.

All available dogs are spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and given a broad spectrum dewormer .The adoption fee for Avvy is $200. The rescue does not ship animals and preference will be given to applications within 200 miles of Oklahoma city.
