My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chip (as in Chocolate Chip) is a super sweet 10 month old chocolate lab mix that found himself in need of a new home and family. His people gave him to a neighbor because financial hardship caused them to have to move in with relatives. The neighbor surrendered Chip to Sunshine's Friends. This cute little guy is gentle and good with other dogs and children. He likes cats too, but wants to play with them, and the foster's senior dog and cats are not up for his puppy playfulness. He is a smart boy and knows some commands. He will go to his crate when told and takes his toy with him. Chip enjoys car rides and walks and is leash trained.

He has also been crate and potty trained but has the full run of the house after his romp outside with his foster. He likes company outside, and his foster thinks he is afraid of being abandoned. We think Chip is going to be on the small side for a lab mix. At 10 months old, he weighs about 42 lbs. He has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped and is ready to go to a loving home and be part of a family. We recommend training for all young dogs and a fenced yard for all but toy and small breeds.

Please text Bev at 410-796-7327 if you would like to meet our boy Chip.
