Hear ye hear ye - We’d like to introduce Rufus King George

Rufus King George is a 1 year old basset hound. This king prefers the bed of his people although he does reside in a kennel if asked. Like any King, he loves all creatures, big and small, including cats! He enjoys a lavish car ride here and there but will also take a leisurely walk through the town streets. He is used to the royal cook, so he can be a bit picky at times with his dinner.

Rufus King George is up to date on vaccines, microchipped and his neuter is scheduled.

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.
