My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maisie is a beautiful gray, white and black lionhead.  She is approximately 2 years old and a bit skittish in her pen but loves to run and binky when she has space to play.  Maisie will to best with adults only or older children and no loud or aggressive dogs.  She does not mind cats.  Grooming on a regular basis will be required in the form of brushing and trimming around her face if the hair gets too long and regular checking of her underside for mats. If you are interested in Maisie, please fill out the foster application at hollyhops.org.  Fostering is required for 30 days before an adoption, if approved, can be completed.  The rescue provides almost everything you will need for the first 30 days.  Photos of the area where she will be living and intermittent photos are required and non-negotiable.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome domestic rabbits that have been left to fend for themselves in dangerous situations or surrendered by people who can no longer care for them. We do this through a foster-to-adopt program that ensures the family is a good match for the rabbit. We also educate the public on indoor domestic rabbit care that benefits the rabbit and provides a safe living environment. Our methods are veterinarian-approved and we work closely with exotic veterinarians to provide the best care possible.
