My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Boo is a 9 month old Great Pyrenees/Mastiff mix. She is a very sweet girl and she loves to bound around and play! Once she settles down from her initial excitement, she wants all of the scratches and pets. She often will demand it with her big ol’ pyrenees paw, smacking you gently to remind you that she is there. If you are looking for a fairly large lap dog, Boo is your girl! Unfortunately, this sweet pup hasn’t had the easiest go of it, so she may take some time to warm up to new people. Once she is familiar with you though she is the sweetest girl and she loves to run up and give you hugs. Because Boo can take a bit longer to warm up to new people, we think she would do best in a home with no kids. Since coming to the shelter, Boo has gained a lot of confidence and has started to warm up to more and more people. She is looking for a home that can help her continue to build her confidence. This sweet girl is ready to offer hugs and cuddles to anyone who is willing to give her the patience and time she needs to get to know them on her own terms.

Boo is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines. If you are interested in Boo, please contact us at staff@whitmanpets.org or call us to schedule a time to come and meet her!
