Finn is a rescue dog from southern Utah, estimated to be just over 1 year old. The owner adopted him in late October, but has since realized her location is too unpredictable to care for a young dog. His breed is unknown (waiting on DNA test results), but he looks and behaves like a black Labrador Retriever / Vizsla. He attached easily to his owner, and is friendly toward people. He plays well with dogs, especially those that match his energy and desire for wrestling! He knows sit, down, wait, stay, load up and come — though could use improvement on recall, especially around other dogs and scents -- and is working on drop it, leave it, and with me. He is crate-trained, and can be crated up to 8 hours (not ideal often). He does best with exercise and time to run & play with dogs; he would be a great running companion. The ideal home would be with an owner who is around fairly often, ready to finish training, and excited to exercise & cuddle with a sweet & energetic dog.
