Sabrina, the tortoiseshell kitten, is SASSY. She has earned the right to be sassy. Born on September 17th, she came into the world nearly bald. She was a premie with the will to survive in spite of having no mama to nurse her or teach her how to be a cat. Her human caretakers fed her night & day and placed her in an incubator to keep her warm. Sabrina grew and thrived. She's healthy, hairy and is convinced that she's human.

Go meet their pets

Every Saturday (except holiday weekends) we have adoptable cats at Petco on 72nd and Dodge in Omaha from 11am-3pm. Adoptable cats also live in cages there and are available during Petco's regular business hours. We also have cats ready for adoption at Petsmart in Council Bluffs. They are available during business hours as well.

By definition, the word "solace" means "that which furnishes comfort or consolation." Coincidentally, SOLAS, although it is spelled differently, provides the same thing for many unwanted dogs, cats, and other animals living in the Council Bluffs/Omaha area. S.O.L.A.S. is a 501(c)3 Not for Profit organization.
