My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Prue is in a foster home and not living at the kennel. If interested in meeting her, please submit an application at k9stray.com**

Prue will have much nicer pictures coming soon to really show her off! She is estimated to be about 3 years old and weighs 47 pounds.

Prue is a sweet girl who is in need of a loving home. She may be young, but she has already been through a lot, and all she wants now is a family to call her own. Prue is shy and kind of shut down right now in this kennel environment. She will need some time to warm up and feel safe in her new home. Once she does, however, she will be your loyal companion. She is opening up more at the rescue with those who are spending extra time with her. Prue will need an adopter who knows how to be a leader she can rely on. They will also need to have the time and patience to work on confidence building and positive socialization.

With patience and love, Prue will flourish into the amazing dog she was always meant to be. Due to her shy nature, Prue would do best in a quiet, adult home where she can relax and feel safe. Prue does seem to perk up around other dogs, so another friendly doggy in the home may be great for building her confidence. She has a lot of love to give, and she is looking for a family that can give her the love and attention she deserves. If you think you could be that family, please consider adopting Prue.

If you are interested in Prue and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!

*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
