My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Judah is a little terrier boy who came to us quite a mess. We are getting him cleaned up, taking care of his dental needs and other minor medical issues. He seems incredibly grateful to be in rescue, in a clean warm bed with food, water and toys at his disposal. Judah's records say that he is 6, but we believe he is a little older. He weighs ten pounds and so far has been very low energy. Not quite sure what type of terrier he is. Very sweet and friendly, Judah would make an excellent senior companion.

Applications for Judah are available at www.chesed-rescue.org/adoptions. We background and vet check all applicants and are looking for stable homes.

More about this rescue

Chesed Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of unwanted animals. “Chesed” is often translated as “loving kindness”. Acts qualify as “chesed” when they are motivated by a spirit of generosity, not obligation.

Chesed is a small rescue, where we get to know each animal as an individual. Our placements focus on not just finding excellent homes, but excellent homes that are the right fit for each pet. Our adoption criteria is strict. We work hard to get these pets to safety, we donate many hours to their care, and will not settle for anything less that a great home for their future.

All of our pets are in foster homes, where they get used to being a loved house pet. If you are interested in saving lives and getting fuzzy snuggles, please apply to foster at www.chesed-rescue.org/fostering.

In addition to our adoption and education programs, we manage the Kobi center, which provides those less fortunate or those on a fixed income with necessary pet supplies, food and medications.
