Behavioral issues

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We have had our 5 year old treeing walker coonhound, Maggie for the past 3 years, we adopted her when she was 2. She is an energetic and loving pup and it pains me to even consider this option. However, she needs a more dominant owner(s). She thrives with lots of exercise and is used to 2-4 miles daily, she is good with kids and other dogs but will not do well with cats. She would be ideal for an active owner. We love her and are using this option to maintain updates and hopefully play dates and an open adoption. I know my son will miss her as will my husband and I. There have been a few incidents with growling and intimidation with me (the female owner), but never a bite incident. She needs dominance and structure. She is well behaved when her alpha (my husband is home). We love her and want her to be happy and in an environment that’s best for her.
