Meet Lavender – the “spicy” girl who’s learning to play and trust!
Lavender has been very slow to come out of her shell, but with the help of 12 crazy kittens, she’s started exploring more and occasionally even playing! She may warm up with time and will sometimes let you pet her, but she’ll likely hiss the whole time. Despite her spicy exterior, Lavender is a sweet and shy girl who craves affection but needs a patient, understanding home where she can feel safe and secure.
Lavender’s journey has been one of growth and progress. She started out as the “spiciest” kitten we’ve ever had, hissing and keeping her distance, though she still craved love and attention. With the help of a foster home, she’s come a long way. Lavender now enjoys the company of other cats, especially her feline friend, and has even let her foster mom touch her for the first time!
Lavender is an incredibly curious girl who loves to observe what’s going on around her, and while she’s still shy about close contact, she does love her lickable treats and has excellent litter box habits. She’s also respectful around kids and babies. With her quiet and reserved nature, Lavender would thrive in a calm home with an experienced adopter who’s ready to give her the time she needs to fully trust and bloom.
