My name is Louella!

We don’t feel we’re able to give Lou all of the love that she really deserves; our priority and focus are on our kids and their wellbeing. Right now, it’s hard to tend to both Lou and the kids in an engaging way.

We rescued in Oct '22 (Kansas stray). Est. age is now 4 yo.

Did 3 week “board and train” in Nov '22.

At-home training in Dec '22 after we had 2nd child.

Heartworm discovered in early '24. Treated, microflora no longer present as of two last tests July and Dec '24.

We moved from Oak Park to Chicago in July '24.

She is calm and really, really sweet. She likes attention.

Sporting dog, needs her long walks! Very attracted to squirrels and rabbits (per her breed).

Good with other dogs.

Vaccines up to date. Potty- and crate-trained (used to sleep in crate, since moving in July sleeps on her dog bed in our bedroom).

Separation anxiety when we leave home (both of us work from home).

Shows possessiveness when we give attention to our 2 kids (3.5 and 2 yo).
