Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there! I'm Mila! You might notice my beautiful black coat with these fancy white markings first, but what really gets people talking is my million-dollar smile. I just can't help it – life is too wonderful not to share my joy! Let me tell you about my typical day: I'm basically a professional fun-seeker! I bounce between playing my heart out and taking what I like to call my "beauty rest" at your feet. A dog's got to recharge, you know! But don't worry – I'm always ready for the next adventure! My absolute favorite thing in the whole wide world? Being right where my humans are! Some people call me a "velcro dog," but I just call it being a devoted companion. And yes, I do get a little excited when my people come back – even if they've only been gone for five minutes. Can you blame me? I celebrate with my special happy dance. It's kind of my signature move! You know what else I love? Making new friends! Dogs, humans, doesn't matter – everyone's a potential playmate in my book. During the holidays, I made new friends everywhere I went. Though when I'm home, you might find me working on my favorite bone. A girl needs some me-time too! When it comes to learning new things, I'm all ears (and they're pretty cute ears, if I do say so myself)! So that's me – Mila! I believe in living every moment to the fullest, spreading joy wherever I go, and never letting my humans forget how much I love them. Now, was that a treat I heard rustling? Or maybe someone wants to play? Either way, I'm ready!
Love, Mila

We are a registered charitable NO KILL Rescue, located in Regina, SK, Canada dedicated to helping dogs that have fallen on hard times (homeless, abandoned and in some cases, surrendered). With the help of dedicated volunteer foster families, our dogs live as part of the family while they are in foster care right up until they move in with their new family. We strive to help with the over-population of pets by making sure each and every puppy*, adolescent and adult dog is spayed/neutered. (*Note: sterilization of puppies is the owner's responsibility and proof of sterilization must be shown at 6 months of age.)
