My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mama Mia, meet Lasagna!

This handsome fellow will warm your heart faster than mama's homemade tomato sauce! His big round head, resembling a meatball covered in orange sauce, is full of admiration for his humans. He is such an easygoing and chatty noodle! You could carry this warm plate of lasagna all around the house and he would just purr knead bread wherever he goes!

This cheesy cat seems to have an admiration for all living things, and would be a great addition to any family home! Due to lack of care in his early years, this fine Italian dish is best served with a side of dental food and will need a good plate cleaning in the next year :) aka his teeth!

Looking for the best comfort food to keep you warm for years to come? Bring some home cooked Lasagna home today, fun for the whole family!

*Here's a recipe for the perfect Lasagna!*
Dental food, Greenies treats, lots of catnip, a warm lap, and endless kitty kisses!
Breadsticks sold separately!

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
