Meet Billie Holiday! Born around August 31, 2024, this charming puppy was a wee 2 ½ weeks old when she was rescued along with her mama as they were wandering down a country road.
Baby Billy is super sweet and loves getting human kisses and cuddles. She also adores being near and snuggling with other dogs.
She always wants to play with toys and her older, bigger, furry foster doggy friends. She has a little sass to her when she’s all excited and play-stalking them! She must have a large, playful doggy companion in her forever home. This buddy will help her continue becoming a polite, well-mannered family member.
At times when the other dogs have fallen asleep, she will adorably sit and look around and whine a little bit, singing her song of sad loneliness.
Billie is short haired with heavy badger markings and cute freckles down her legs. We’re thinking her daddy could have been an Australian Cattle Dog and that her adult weight will be around 80 pounds.
She is working on her house training and needs frequent opportunities to go outside since she is still in her puppy stage.
She is kennel trained and goes into her kennel on her own when she wants to nap.
She has not yet been around any cats or children. We would not suggest she be around babies and toddlers since she has no experience of them.
When not inside with her humans, she loves running and playing outside. She would do best with a big yard where she can run, play, and explore with her dog buddies.
