Hey all you fabulous folks out there, I'm here to adopt me a family, a home...one I can say is ALL mine!! I'm dreaming of that special family that will take a chance on making that wish a reality. I don't need a lot, just a soft place to lay my head, a bowl of my own and some love!
I am around 8 years old and came from a hoarding situation of 96 dogs all in a small house, yes 96 dogs, where our living situation wasn't very good. I am so appreciative of all the little things that most dogs take for granted. A kind word, a gentle pet, a soft bed, some tasty treats!!
I am so very loving, coming for some pets every chance I get and my favorites are ear scratches and belly rubs. I would do great in a quieter home where my person(s) could work from home or are retired and I would probably do best in a home without smaller kiddos.
I do great with people once I get to know them, I do wonderfully with the other dogs in my foster home from big to smaller and also the resident kitty.
I am crate trained but will need some continued work on housetraining but I do know to use potty pads. My chill easy going personality will make for me being a great companion pup for just about any family, even a first time pet parent.
I get so excited to see you when you get home even if it was only to step out to get the mail!! I don't really play too much with toys but I do love snuggling on a soft blanket! I will also be your lil shadow, following wherever you go...that lil heartbeat at your feet!
If you would like a FBF(furry best friend) to help you with your errand runs, a constant in your life to share in your joys and sorrows...oh my, I AM your boy!!!!

Hay Dude Equine Rescue, in Boerne, TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs, are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each pup comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, microchipped, heartworm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.

(3) educate the public on proper horse care and husbandry
(4) offer assistance to equine owners in times of natural or personal disaster
(5) rehabilitate neglected and abused equines
(6) accept donations of rehomeable equines for adoption and placement
(7) adopt equines into thoroughly vetted homes
