My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Vegan is a smart, funny, and loving companion. She is very active and needs lots of play time to release
her abundance of energy! She loves to fetch, play tag, and play with toys. She is working on not play attacking hands and feet.

When she’s not zooming around, she is a big sweetie and likes to snuggle with her people while she rests. Vegan did not grow up with humans and is a bit of a diva when she doesn’t get her way. She needs adopters who are experienced with cats and know how to read her body language and set boundaries.

She is mischievous and needs a home that is thoroughly cat-proofed. Vegan has anxiety that is well managed with medication. She requires a home without kids or other pets.

More about this rescue

VOKRA’s mission is to end cat overpopulation and homelessness. We rescue, heal, then place cats - first in our network of foster homes, then in carefully matched, loving, forever homes. We are a passionate, volunteer-driven charity with extensive cat care experience. We believe that no kill is the only responsible approach to rescue, that Trap-Neuter-Return works and that cats are AWESOME!
