My name is Ruger!

Hey everyone, I’m Ruger! 🐾

I’m on the hunt for my furever home and a loving family! I’m a 2-year-old Pitbull Terrier mix who was found abandoned by the side of the road. After sitting there for three days, two amazing ladies started feeding me and earned my trust. Now, I’m in a cozy foster home and ready for my next adventure! 🏡❤️

I’m full of love and energy (still in my puppy phase!), and I warm up quickly to my human friends. Sometimes new situations make me a little shy, but once I feel safe, my playful side shines! I know basic commands like sit, stay, and come.

While playing in the yard, I haven’t dug or tried to escape! I enjoy playing tug-of-war and fetch, and I LOVE treats. 🍖

I also love car rides and I’m learning how to walk nicely on a leash. I can’t wait to share my love with you and be part of your family!

Let Love Live believes in an easy, simple and low barrier adoption process. Gone are the days of home visits and reference checks. The questions we ask on our application are to help make sure we get the right pet into your home, not to exclude adopters.

Let Love Live rescues animals in Texas and many southern states. We have two locations, our shelter and sanctuary in rural Northeast Texas and our Minnesota foster-based program. If you are interested in meeting a pet, please fill out an adoption application. Once an application is submitted you will be assigned an adoption coordinator and at that time all questions will be answered during the approval process.

Adoption Fees:

Puppy (6 months and younger): $300 - $400 + $50 refundable spay/neuter deposit
Altered Adult (7 months to 7 years): $300 - $500
Adults under 20 Lbs: $375
Senior (7 years to 10 years): $135
Super Seniors (over 10 years): $75
