My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I was left abandoned with my sister. I am a young pup who is learning so much!! I've learned that it's so yummy to eat regularly and my foster mom shows me what love is!! I love to lay beside you and follow you wherever you go. I Give kisses, and snuggle next to you on the couch when allowed. “I'm really smart!” I learn commands really quickly ( especially if you have treats for rewards!) I get along with other dogs and cats. My foster mom named me Bell, for Christmas Bell. I am so thankful for being rescued and I have so much love to share.

Bell knows basic commands, she is great with other dogs. Active and will be great even as a performance dog. Dock diving, agility and scent work are all within reach. This is a fun dog and will be a great family dog good with children, good with cats.. Fostered in Bradenton.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We require potential adopters to fill out an Adoption Application. When that is approved we can arrange for the prospective adopter to meet the dog they are interested in. We do require an adoption contract to be signed at time of adoption. We have a virtual home-check process (don't forget to submit photos of the exterior of your home!) Adoption fees range depending on the age of the dog. We do have dogs located at qualified fosters throughout the state and also out of state.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

Since all rescue dogs live in foster homes, there is no single facility to meet pups.

You will need to contact Ewenity Farms HDH to make arrangements to meet the rescue dog after you have an approved app on file. Apps can be filled out at ewenityfarm.org

More about this rescue

We are a small, foster-based rescue organization located in Southwest Florida. Being small helps us give more one-on-one attention to individual dogs and their needs. Rescued dogs are kept in our homes and treated as our own. Herding dogs are unique. They are highly intelligent and require much of the owner’s attention. The dogs are evaluated, when they come into the rescue, for any temperament and health issues. Then they are given basic obedience, socialization and rehabilitation as it is necessary.

It is our sole purpose to find forever homes for these loving, wonderful dogs that have been discarded through no fault of their own. All adopted dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, micro-chipped, and on flea and heartworm preventative.
