Tiny Tim was a holiday miracle. Rescued in horrible shape, starved and matted, he never stopped wagging his tail. Hes been eating healthy food and now weighs in around 11 pounds.
He needed a shave-down to remove the dreadlocks but his beautiful white fur is growing back and he will need grooming every few months. He’s an energetic 3 year old Maltese who loves doing zoomies in the house, racing around the yard, going for walks, and tossing squeaky toys.
He’s good with other dogs, loves going bye-bye in the car, and is a good traveler. He’s trained to go potty outside, but his small bladder only lasts a few hours. He knows to use potty pads.
Tiny is a very affectionate little guy. He loves being in close proximity to “his people”. He likes sitting on laps, being carried around, and sleeping on or next to your bed.
Small children are not a good mix due to his small size and desire to be right in the midst of things. He could easily be stepped on or tripped over.
Due to his confinement in his past life, he does not like being put in a crate. He did well with a puppy gate keeping him in a secure area/room when needed.

The apps are submitted and intensely screened for general approval by a phone interview and vet check. Once approved it is sent to the foster to see if it is a match for their foster dog where another interview takes place. If both agree it seems like a good fit. A meet is scheduled where the whole potential family and any current pets meet the foster and foster dog. A home check is done. Then once both agree it is in fact a good fit, they will sign a contract, pay a fee and take the dog home that day if the foster likes, or the next day so both parties can sleep on it to make sure it's right.

We save all ages, sizes, breeds, etc. Once saved - they are sent straight to the vet to be fully examined, have any health concerns addressed and cleared and then sent to the foster home for evaluation. Once evaluated, we come up with a bio to determine their best fit for a forever home.
