Joules came to Detroit Animal Care and Control a huge matted mess of a dog. This poor baby had to be shaved down in order to discover she had a hair tie embedded into her neck and ear. Despite the cruelty of humans, Joules is a loving happy friendly young dog . She weighs about 8 pounds. She is so cute when she chases after a toy or gets the zoomies. She would be great for a family with kids. She also is super content to be laying next to you (or preferably on your lap) watching TV. She is crate trained (just have to say 'go to your crate' and she runs into it), and potty trained (goes every time she's outside, and jumps up on your leg to let you know she wants out). She sleeps from 11pm to 7am without a peep and keeps a clean crate. She is in a foster home with a 3 dogs of various sizes and two cats. She ignores the cats and plays well with the two smaller dogs. She's a little straggly looking now, but, when her hair grows back and she's groomed properly, she will be adorable.
