My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We adopted Mia in 2019, and she is a wonderful, snuggly companion. However, we got pregnant with twins and that big lifestyle change has caused Mia quite a bit of stress. With our babies up and about, we have to keep Mia in our bedroom to avoid any conflicts, but she was still anxious (the bedroom door does not muffle crying babies that much). She is on a course of anti-anxiety medication which has helped with her behavior, but my wife and I decided that we just don't have enough time, space, or mental bandwidth right now to give Mia the love and attention she deserves.

Mia is about 10 years old, not very active although she will play with toys. She is very much an indoor cat. She doesn't overeat although she will get very excited for fresh kibble or treats.

We will be sad to see her go, but we want her to find a new home where she can be the only pet, with adults or older children who can respect her boundaries.
