Meet Ciao, the most energetic and playful kitten you'll ever meet! This little furball is always on the move, exploring every nook and cranny with boundless curiosity. Ciao is known for his loud, contented purring that fills the room with warmth and happiness.

One of Ciao’s favorite activities is attacking the mop during cleaning time. It's his way of helping out, or so he thinks! With his adorable white boots on his paws, he looks like he's always ready for a fancy party, even when he's in the middle of his playful antics.

Ciao gets along wonderfully with other cats, making him a perfect addition to any multi-cat household. He is still a little skittish with humans that he doesn’t know. But he warms up quickly with loving caresses and wet food.

If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website and complete an application. This is not a commitment, but when we receive it, someone will contact you within 48 hours. The application is the first step in our process. Once you are approved, we can make arrangements for you to meet any of our cats or kittens. If you are not sure which one you might be interested in, we can help you narrow your search!
All our cats and kittens are fully vetted, tested, wormed and treated for fleas, spayed or neutered, UTD on vaccinations, and microchipped before adoption.

We are proud to be a PetSmart Charities Adoption Partner and manage the PetSmart Adoption Centers in Wake Forest at 11835 Retail Drive and in Raleigh at Six Forks Station, 8825 Six Forks Road, and at Capital Crossings, 2800 East Millbrook Road where adoption events are held every weekend from 11:00 am - 1 pm. Covid has shortened our adoptathon hours, but we are always available by email which is the best way to reach us.

More about this rescue

Purr Partners Feline Rescue is a 501(c)(3), no-kill, foster-based, all-volunteer organization dedicated to saving the lives of cats and kittens in Central North Carolina — incorporated in 2009 by two friends, four cats, and no budget. These two women realized the need for a "cat only" rescue that worked with rural shelters — where cats routinely lose their lives. Purr Partners was founded to save the lives of those most in jeopardy with little hope of survival. High-kill rural shelters became the focus for Purr Partners, and that is still true today. From those humble beginnings, the rescue has grown to over a hundred active volunteers and a budget of approximately $175,000. At any given time there are between 100 and 150 cats and kittens in foster care. We have saved the lives of over 3500 cats and are still growing!
