My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Austin Siamese Rescue offers courtesy listings in an effort to assist cat owners in finding loving, responsible homes for their pets. This cat is not part of our foster program and is not under the direct care of Austin Siamese Rescue.  For further information on this cat, please contact the caretaker directly at riverrunanimalrescue@gmail.com

Yancy is a sweet and very petite tabby mix lady with beautiful green eyes! Her favorites are laps, dogs, her cat buddies, and snacks! She is super affectionate and playful, and she is fully vetted and ready to go into her forever home! Adoption fee is $125. We have been rescuing kittens from feral/stray moms in the hill country for several years. Bringing them into safety and socializing them until we find great homes! This is an important mission, as communities are being over-run with feral cat colonies. We spay/neuter the adults in these colonies whenever possible and your adoption fee goes directly to help fund these efforts! This is a courtesy listing thru Austin Siamese Rescue from another organization, so please contact/text 512-422-2803 or riverrunanimalrescue@gmail.com for further information on this sweet baby girl!

Austin Siamese Rescue assumes no responsibility for the veracity of the listing or the conduct of the caretaker in the listing.

Additional adoption info

Interested adopters go through a careful screening process to include reference checks, telephone interviews, and where appropriate, home visits. No cat will be placed in a new home which allows cats to go outside. The adoptive owners agree to give Austin Siamese Rescue, Inc. the option of reclaiming the cat, should the adoption not work to the advantage of the new owner and the cat.

Adoption fees for Austin Siamese Rescue, Inc. range from $100 to $225 and include such vet work as combo test, vaccinations, worming and flea control, and microchip. We spay or neuter all of our cats prior to placement and most of our kittens, depending on their size and readiness.

For more detailed information and our adoption policies, see the Adoption Info section of our web page.

More about this rescue

Founded in 2007, Austin Siamese Rescue is a dedicated 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on rescuing and rehoming Siamese cats and their non-Siamese companions. Our goal is to provide a safe haven for cats from various backgrounds, including shelters, abandoned, and neglectful situations, as well as those whose guardians can no longer care for them.

All of our cats are cared for in private homes by dedicated volunteers who offer their time and love to ensure each cat receives the best possible care. We are committed to finding loving, permanent homes where these cats can thrive and be cherished for the rest of their lives.

At Austin Siamese Rescue, we believe every cat deserves a second chance at happiness and a life filled with love. Through our rescue efforts and community support, we aim to make a positive impact on the lives of the cats we serve and the families who welcome them into their homes.
