Meet Chimi, a playful puppy bursting with energy! This little mischief-maker loves carrying shoes around the house - it’s her favorite game! She’s great with other dogs and finds comfort in snuggling up close to her furry friends when it’s time to rest. Chimi is still working through her puppy phase, so she has those adorable (but sometimes ouch-worthy!) puppy nibbles. She’s also a big fan of mealtime and will happily chow down before diving back into her playful antics. If you’re ready to embrace the joys of puppyhood and have a home where she can grow and thrive, Chimi would love to meet you!

PLEASE NOTE: All your current pets must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention to adopt from Polka Dogz. We only adopt in Florida. All adoption fees go to help all the dogs in the rescue, some of which require extensive medical care. Thank you for caring for the greater good. FIRST step is to fill out a pre adoption application (www.polkadogz.org). We check vet references, personal references and do home visits before adopting any pet. We also help match the right pet to the right home. All current pets in household must be spayed/neutered and on heartworm prevention (very important)
Adoption fees help us support all the dogs in our rescue, some of which cost thousands in medical bills. Thank you for caring about the greater good!

More about this rescue

We strive to educate the public on responsible pet ownership. We rescue many dogs with heartworms, injuries nad those who have been victims of severe neglect and/or abuse. Maverick is a perfect example. He is paralyzed and we work daily with him to hopefully help him walk again.
