My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Annie is a 2-3 year old goldendoodle/poodle mix, she weighs 58 pounds. She is a very pretty golden color, she could stand to gain a little more weight. She is a great girl, she likes to play fetch and is always walking around with a toy in her mouth. She is potty trained and is using the doggy door in her foster home. It is common to have an accident at first as she adjusts being in a new home. She loves to follow her fosters around the house. She does great with other dogs, she hasn't been around cats. She sleeps either on the couch, a pet bed or wherever she can find. She is said to be crate trained but her foster home has just put her in a spare room when gone and she does great. Annie is a great girl that's deserves a great home of her own. She hasn't been on a leash much but when she was she did good.

Annie's adoption fee is $300. She is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped with registration, heartworm tested positive. Adopter needs to be able to get Annie to our vet in Peoria to finish up heartworm treatment at the rescues expense. If interested please apply at gfrpets.org/apply/adoptdog/

If we find a good match for you, you can pay the adoption fee, sign the contract, and take the pet home!

Additional adoption info

Adopters fill out a no-obligation contract. If approved, they will fill out a contract for the animal. Adoption fees are $200 per dog ($250 for puppies 6 months and younger) and $60 for cats ($100 for kittens), which includes spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip registration, deworming medications, heartworm and flea preventative.

This is a small, foster based rescue run by volunteers. Please be patient as it may take a few days to approve your application.
