My name is Champa!

Champa is a sweet 4-year-old tabby (turning 5 on May 1st) who I adopted from a local rescue 4 years ago. He’s a big boy at 17 pounds and loves cuddling, playing, birdwatching, and basking in sunny spots. While affectionate, Champa can be skittish and startles easily. He has nipped me a few times, though never anyone else in the home.

Champa has been the only pet until recently when my elderly mother moved in with her small Yorkie. He’s adjusted well but hasn’t been around other cats, so I’m unsure how he’d do with them. My son is an adult and so Champa has had limited exposure to little kids but has been fine during visits from my nieces and nephews.
