My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Elvis and Presley seemed to have gain many concerned and adoring fans overnight as their story became public. Unfortunately, these two resilient pigs were left on a walking trail in the cold rain. Luckily, some caring community members were able to wrangle these two Guineas who are now safe, warm and dry. They have gained some weight and love their snacks and salads. Elvis and Presley love to explore their enclosure and make use of every inch, as evidenced by the mess each morning.

Elvis is the older, more experienced of the pair. He is still not sure about us strangers handling him but settles right in when being held and doesn't fuss much about being picked up. We imagine he would really shine with people he can bond with and trust.

Presley is less interested in being the star of the show. We believe he is younger than Elvis and likely has less experience being handled. Presley tries to avoid being picked up by running from hide to hide and will vocalize his displeasure when caught but will allow a cuddle.

These boys are funny, gentle and, of course, have great hair! If you would like to spoil some guinea pigs please contact the Campbell River branch to apply or visit during our open hours: Tuesday- Saturday, 12-4.
