My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** Panda & Lucy are in a foster home ***

Panda: black & white, medium hair, neutered male, born approx. 6/1/24, #19380
Lucy: solid black w/white patch, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 6/1/24, #19381

Cats: **BONDED PAIR** & no to others
Dogs: unknown
Children: unknown

BACKGROUND: In July 2024, Panda and Lucy were discovered behind a small strip mall in Escondido. The teeny kittens took refuge between the cracked cement near the dumpster. It wasn’t until Panda went looking for food and poked his little head out that kind humans spotted them. Having to defend against rodents and owls, they were so protective of each other that it took a few attempts before the nice humans were able to capture the elusive pair and bring them to The Rescue House.

PERSONALITY: Thick as thieves, this cuddly brother-sister duo is an incredible team! Lucy looks forward to managing a household and supervising all the interesting activities. As for Panda, he keeps busy being very handsome! They enjoy snuggles and playtime but aren’t hyper kitties. You can often find them bird watching or posing for a picture for Instagram. Most of all, our lounge kitties adore being with their people and taking part in your daily adventures. Their purr motors kick on as soon as you pick them up. Based on the situation, they take turns being the brave leader. During a scary car ride to the vet, they held each other paws for comfort. Grateful for a delicious meal, they’ll plant a kiss on your chin to say “Thank you.” If you’re lucky, they might even include you in their after-meal bath!
---Panda is a total honeybun who loves being snuggled and held! We are obsessed with his ear whisps and bunny-soft fur. Panda is destined to grow into a large, majestic cat. We have a feeling he’ll keep his sweet boyish charm forever.
---Lucy is a regal lady who fills the room with her lovely aura and cheerful purrs. Even though she is more petite than her brother, Lucy can hold her own just fine! During recess, she can leap and tumble like a superhero. In fact, she is named after the actress Lucy Liu from the movie, “Charlie’s Angels.”
--- They are a bonded pair and must go home together. We wouldn’t dare separate these two!

COMPATIBILITY: They would be best to be the only cats in the household. We do not know how they feel about dogs or young children.

Panda and Lucy have so much love to give! Could you be the lucky
