Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
As a tiny puppy, Greta was left with her sister Gwen in a small box--their paws tied with tape--under a broken truck next to a garbage dumpster.
They were lucky that their cries were heard and they were saved by a compassionate dog lover.
Greta is now all grown up (she is three years old and she weighs just over 60 lbs.). She has been spayed, she is in perfect health, and she has all the vaccines.
Greta is initially a little timid, but as she gains confidence and get to know you better, her amazing character emerges.
She's great with people and animals, barking rarely and never biting. She is quiet and mellow and will respond whenever you want to play with her, but she is not pushy or needy.
Whether with a single person or a family with kids, Greta will thrive and will give you a lots of love.
Greta would need a safely fenced yard (please, no invisible fencing).
Her ideal adopter would be retired or would work just part time (or work from home) because Greta doesn’t want to be left home alone for more than 4-5 hours during the day.
Because Greta had a rough start in life, her adopter will need to be patient and gentle with her.. But with a little time, she will blossom into a loyal, loving family member.
Her adoption fee is $350.
If you think you would be a good fit for me, please contact my foster “mom” at: sylvialovesme@gmail.com Then, if she agrees I might be the right dog for you, she will send you an adoption application and we can schedule a meet-and-greet along with a pre-adoption home visit.

They are being fostered in a suburb of Chicago.
