My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Once a doodle—always a doodle! This wonderful bunch of doodle pups were rescued with their mom from a Good Samaritan who could no longer care for the mom and her offspring. As cute as they are, puppies take time, energy, and resources. So, SNIPSA stepped in to help.

Doodles are known for their playful personalities, intelligence, loving nature (they don’t know a stranger), and ball-loving drive. They are patient and gentle with children, making them an excellent choice for families. They are highly trainable and quick learners and often make great candidates for therapy or service dogs. They are affectionate and goofy, and if you can imagine a dog smiling, a doodle would come to mind.

Doodles also require a bit of maintenance, so be prepared for a grooming trip or two to keep your new pup's coat shining. They love to walk and accompany you on car rides and family outings. When considering this breed, be prepared to incorporate them into your day-to-day.

If you are up for being a proud parent to a doodle, consider applying for one of these jumbo balls of fur. They surely won’t disappoint!

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
