Hello there! My name is Beans. I have A+ snuggling skills and would love to curl up in bed with you! I really love chew toys, but sometimes I get confused about what’s a toy and what’s not! I know how to come, sit, and drop it, but I am very smart and am eager to learn more tricks. I am not too talkative, except for whining when I don’t get what I want! (Sometimes my foster home calls me Princess Beans!) I think walks are amazing, but I am a bit new to the idea, so I am not too good at leash manners. My foster family says I am an expert at tangling people with my leash! I am super super sweet and love people of any age (I am really good with little kids) though I might be a little shy at first. I may growl a bit if I see someone new, but that’s just because I would like to meet them!

All of our adoptable dogs and cats will be be spayed or neutered before they can be adopted out.
Dogs: adoption fee includes spay/neuter, first set of shots, microchip and county license (for davis county residents). Cats: adoption fee includes spay/neuter, first set of shots, microchip and county license (for davis county residents if applicable within your city).

Go meet their pets

We are open M-F 10AM-6PM and are located at 1422 E 600 N in Fruit Heights, UT. Please call for directions (801)-444-2200.
We encourage the whole family including any furry ones to come along when looking at one of our adoptable animals. Often on Saturdays we hold an adoption event at a local Petsmart or Petco. Please call on Friday to get the location and/or time for the weekend adoption event.

Our Goal
"To provide service to the people and the animals of Davis County, through the professional operation of the Davis County Animal Shelter and animal care and control programs. Services shall be rendered in an efficient, effective, and conscientious manner. These services shall include, but are not limited to; sheltering of unwanted, stray and abandoned pets, euthanasia of animals, adoption, redemption, lost and found services, providing of resource information, and public education as well as the taking and processing of all requests for service.
