My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cosmo, Rocket, and Star — three curious explorers born to light up the world around them! These three Alaskan Malamute mixes were on a dangerous mission after being dumped at ACS, and SNIPSA knew we had to rescue them.

All three possess a fluffy tan coat and sweet, friendly demeanors. Although they each have distinct characteristics: Cosmo is calm and affectionate, Rocket is playful and loving, and Star is social and eager to be near. Of course, as they grow, their personalities are sure to change and bloom. Their breed suggests they will be devoted and active dogs. Malamutes enjoy hiking, running, and swimming with their owners and would do well in an active household. These cuties should reach a large size in a few years. So, if you’re looking for a larger dog with a persevering spirit and a heart for adventure, apply to meet one of these guys today! They are sure to be the center of your universe

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
