Mia was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team on 12/24/2024.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Introducing Mia! Mia hasn't been in our care very long but we know she is super sweet and loves to go on walks. She is sensitive on her hind area/legs so she's not a fan of being petted there but doesn't seem to mind everywhere else. Mia needs a new family to take her home and give her the love she deserves. Please drop by our Escondido campus to interact with Mia.

This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered. This pet is now ready for her new home!

Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County.
