Jack joined the CVHS crew when his family`s life was upended, and he needs a home that can give him the love he`s accustomed to, and all the attention he desires.
New situations make this sweet boy a bit anxious, so he`d prefer a calm home with dependable routines, with someone willing to play fetch, take him for walks, and rides in the car. In his previous home he had a fenced-in yard that he loved to run in, so it`d be great if he had an option for being able to safely run around. He does have a prey drive, as is very normal for his breed, so he should not live around small animals.
Jack recently lived with a few other dogs due to unexpected circumstances, so with proper introductions he may be fine with living with another dog in his new home. He has not been around children, and his hesitation with new situations indicates that young active kids may be a bit too much for him, but older calm kids might be exactly what he loves.
A 5-week Good Manners training course is included in Jack`s $350.00 adoption fee. Please call the Adoption Center at 802-476-3811, or email info@centralvermonthumane.org, to schedule a time to talk to an adoption counselor about him, and to determine if you should meet Jack.
